WORKING AT OKT LLP
OKT LLP is interested in working with lawyers and law students who have demonstrated interest and experience working with Indigenous Nations and peoples, excellent academic credentials, and who are committed to sovereignty and justice for Indigenous peoples.
We pride ourselves not only on being excellent lawyers for our clients but also on being excellent colleagues to one another. We offer a salary competitive with similar firms, extended health benefits, and a subsidized gym membership for articling students, associates, and support staff.
We find that in order to best represent our clients, we need to go to their communities. Therefore, associates should expect to travel to client communities across the country by plane, train and automobile.
OKT LLP is an equitable, accessible, and diverse workplace. We value having lawyers and support staff who come from the Indigenous communities we represent. Knowledge of Indigenous languages, laws and cultures is considered an asset for all positions.
OKT LLP will provide human rights accommodations during the recruitment process for all positions. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you require accommodations to participate in the recruitment process.
