Sarah Zulauf is a Legal Assistant at OKT. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Sarah worked for several years in plaintiff personal injury law and civil litigation. Having earned a minor in Indigenous Studies from Trent University and a diploma in Legal Office Administration from Seneca College, the transition to Indigenous Law was made with great interest and some fundamental knowledge surrounding the various challenges First Nation’s face in Canada.
Sarah’s area of focus at the firm is Child and Family Welfare, but she also contributes to Human Rights, Employment, and Environmental matters. Sarah has gained experience with Class Action lawsuits and various National Inquiries into boil water advisories, the treatment of Innu children and youth in the child welfare system, and survivors of the residential schooling systems in Canada.
