OKT is pleased to be attending and presenting at the Indigenous Bar Association’s 25th Annual Fall Conference to be held from October 7-9th at Casino Rama in Mnjikaning, Ontario.
Maggie Wente will be presenting on the subject of “Establishing Indigenous Administrative Tribunals” on October 7 from 9 a.m. – 12 a.m. The panel will be presenting on Indigenous tribunals to address human rights matters.
OKT will also have a table set up at the IBA Student Day on October 7. Stop by to find out about OKT’s student program, and pick up some candy to keep you going during the conference!
OKT’s lawyers Gillian Paul and Jessica Iveson, and articling student Kaitlin Ritchie will be attending the IBA conference. We are also delighted to have many of our proud Osgoode Hall’s Intensive Program in Aboriginal Lands, Resources and Governments alumni attend the reception to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Intensive Program, and we congratulate Osgoode Hall on this milestone.
