OKT works with clients to develop policies in all areas of government regulation from employment matters, to elections, to other governance issues.

OKT assists First Nations interested in drafting bylaws under the Indian Act and the First Nations Fiscal Management Act.

OKT also advises on protocol development for dealing with provincial, territorial, and municipal governments. This includes extensive experience drafting consultation and accommodation protocols related to the protection of rights and  management of impacts from natural resource and other projects, both public and private, on our clients’ territories.
