Graeme Cook is an associate at OKT. He is a member of the Metlakatla First Nation, located on the northwest coast of British Columbia.
Graeme holds a JD from the University of British Columbia, where he received a number of awards for academic excellence. Prior to joining OKT, Graeme served as a law clerk at the Court of Appeal for British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada.
While in law school, Graeme worked at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic, providing legal services in the areas of Aboriginal, criminal, family and employment law to Indigenous clients. He also worked with the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association and participated in the Gale criminal law moot.
Graeme also holds a BA (Political Science) from the University of British Columbia and an MA (Public and International Affairs) from the University of Ottawa. He previously worked for the City of Toronto in various roles, including as an analyst and investigator at the Office of the Toronto Ombudsman.
Graeme is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
